Class 1 explore Blue Planet Aquarium

Lesson: Science

Class: Forest Class Year: 2021 - 2022

Class 1 and their teachers were so excited to board the minibus and set off on their first real 'trip' as a class.

Songs were sung on the journey, snacks were eaten upon arrival and then our first stop was the 'Divers Show' in the water theatre where we learnt about tornado feeding sessions and watched the beautiful stingrays have their lunch.

We then made our way around the aquarium. We found Nemo, watched the octopus be fed, were in awe of the coral pool, and were fascinated by the rays as they waved and smiled at us. Then, the big finish, the tunnel and the travelator! We were so excited and it was a first-time experience for all of our children so it was lovely to share it with them. We ended the day with a blast of fresh air on the playground and a peek at the pelicans before once again boarding the bus.

It was the perfect day.
