Open Book Bible Story

We were thrilled to welcome the Open Book church drama group to school in February. This was the start of an exciting interactive journey through the bible’s stories that we will be continuing on a regular basis into the future. The project will enable the children to engage with the bible on a new level whilst giving them a greater understanding of the stories and teachings that lie within it.  On this visit the children were able to see the story of creation unfold and, through the use of vibrant props and puppets, many children become part of the story itself. Many thanks to the Open Book team for all the thought and effort that is going into this new venture and for their kind donation of a Lion Storyteller Bible that we will treasure and use within our own collective worship and RE lessons.
